Sihlangene in Coding and Robotics Community Development robotics projects.This approach helps create future innovators and
enhances educational opportunities from basic to higher
education by incorporating robotics and coding into the curriculum.The project aims to build essential 21st-century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities. By integrating these technologies into education, Sihlangene prepares learners for future careers and fosters their ability to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Sihlangene aligns with DUT’s ENVISION2030 by advancing innovative education and community engagement. The project supports ENVISION2030’s goals of improving educational quality and preparing students for dynamic careers. By addressing educational challenges, especially in rural areas, and partnering with schools and universities. Sihlangene embodies DUT’s commitment to developing future-ready learners and fostering community impact through technological education.
IMPACT AND SUSTAINABILITY
Sihlangene significantly impacts communities by enhancing problem-solving and collaboration skills among learners through
