This accomplishment indicates a solid foundation for nurturing research talent within our academic community. However, to sustain and amplify
this success, strategic initiatives are imperative to navigate forthcoming challenges and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
Looking ahead, DUT anticipates a continued demand for research Master’s graduates in an increasingly competitive academic landscape in line with government initiatives and support. To meet this demand and further enhance our graduate output, we propose a multifaceted strategy focusing on targeted interventions aimed at optimising resources, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and enhancing mentorship and support mechanisms.

We are pleased to report a significant increase in research output in 2023, exceeding the target by nearly 21%. We achieved a total of 1 057.25 publications, surpassing the target of 870.
This achievement signifies a strong commitment to research by our faculty and highlights DUT’s growing prominence in the research landscape. However, to ensure continued growth and maximise the impact of our research, a deeper analysis is planned.
