While the overall throughput rates for 4-year bachelor’s degree students (as depicted in Figure 18) are higher than those for 3-year diploma/degree students (Figure 19), there has been an increase of 6% in these rates from 2018 to 2020, followed by a significant 5% decrease in 2021. This decrease could potentially be attributed to the composition of degree programmes offered, including historically lower throughput programmes such as Engineering. However, further investigation is necessary to understand this phenomenon better. Consequently, we anticipate a significant enhancement in the minimum time +1-year throughput as well, which showed a gradual decrease from 24% to 19% from 2018 to 2020. On average, the minimum time throughput for 3-year diploma/degree programmes has been 39% since 2016, while the minimum time +1-year throughput has stood at 59% since 2016.
