Composing your W&W collage

Let ‘er rip! Be brave, and tear up some of

those collage pages to create a new Wax &
Words composition!

Hint: Follow the AB3’s

Alignment, Breathing Room, and Thirds work
separately and together. You’ll see that sometimes
one is more important, but each plays well with the
other two.

These AB3’s are nothing new. Michelangelo knew
about them. And so did Picasso. You probably know
about them, too, just by artistic instinct, but when
you internalize these three easy concepts, you’ll be
able to recognize why some arrangements seem to
work while others don’t. Watch how they work in the
