W&W TIP: SELECTING AN AREA FOR MATTING using a

clear acrylic frame from the discount store

Horizontal or vertical? Hmmmmmm. . .

Here’s a TIP:

You can use a clear acrylic frame to lay over your
composition, then move it around to see what area you would
like to crop out for your finished work.

Here, a 5x7” stand-up acrylic frame is moved around on a
larger sheet to see what area looks best to crop out for waxing.

When you decide, draw a pencil line around the area using
the frame as a guide, then cut it out with a craft knife or paper
cutter.
