Artful Screens with
W&W Panels
The screen, below, is made of four W&W panels done on
archival matboard. The panels are joined together with paper
“piano hinges.”
You can see a detail of the hinges on the right. Mine are
expremely simple with just four alternating sections, although
artists who work with handmade books usually use many
more in their hinges. There’s lots of information on the
Internet.
You can find some good directions from an anonymous
blogger for a piano hinge book here - and then use the
same idea for your W&W screen.
