STRETCHED CANVAS:
W&W Collage on a wrapped
canvas substrate, 8x8x2.”
The front surface is a separate piece made on an
8x8” piece of archival mat board. Do not work
directly on the canvas surface - it is not rigid
enough, but it makes a good support for matboard.
The sides were wrapped with strips of black paper
with white asemic writing.
All surfaces were then coated with two layers of
beeswax, and book foil was applied.
The piece was finished by rubbing gold metallic
wax along the edges. I love this Momenta Wax - a
little goes a long way.
