For this term, my actual
creating has taken
a “backseat” on my
artistic journey as my
goals are more about
the logistics of being
an artist – pursuing
alternative ways to

present, expanding
marketing opportunities,
and entering shows. I’ve
entered 3 juried shows;
tackled the challenge
of shipping; and been
accepted into a local art
fair; and I’m exploring

my use of social media
(as an artist), Most
satisfying for me,
however, is completing
my tri-fold spirit doll.
Meet “Uka”, whose
carefree, lighthearted
spirit is a gentle
reminder to be more “in
the moment” and more
forgiving of own flaws.
