Painting with
Splash
Splash and Dev Painting, encaustic, paperclay, wood, wire, paper, gesso, 7.25 x 12 x 6 in
This is Splash. He’s a painter. Dev likes to paint with Splash.
Especially when they paint with their tails. Dev also likes balloons.
The artist easels are made out of square chopsticks cut and glued
together with wood glue. I highly recommend collecting unfinished
wooden chopsticks in all shapes and sizes.
The large canvas is an Ampersand Encausticbord trading card. The
smaller canvas is one used for crafts and dollhouses that I painted
with encaustic gesso before painting with encaustics.
The paint brushes are ornate wooden toothpicks covered in
paperclay, and the artist pallets were cut out of card stock with a
thin coat of paperclay applied to both sides.
