with my back to
the wall, a Beat

Generation band
played, bass

thrumming, snares,
and cymbals

brushed by wire, a
singer's voice
doing the "Da. Da-

da-da-daaa-daaa.

Da. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da." with words of the bebop all
over the scale. The market, the cafe, the street musicians – it
was a perfect Sunday in Paris.

Dev also likes listening to street musicians, and he decided to learn

how to play the bass.
