Mathletes Excel Under New Advisor
Two mods of math class a day are the most any average CBA student can endure, but there are those feverish few who cannot accept that low quota. They are the Math League members who find equations and fearsome formulae an after noon turnon. Said pro Mathlete Dan Pilch, "The problems can be as intriguing as a Rubik’s Cube”.
While punch and cookies may be an added attraction at these contests, what keeps the super scholars coming back for more is the sure success of grinding their opponents to a pulp. In
their first two meets against Ludden, Grimes, North Syracuse, and others, the Math makers were the convincing victors.
Junior Steve Hays and SeniorsJohn Villani, Stephen Mil ligan, Andy Leja, Dan Pilch led the group of puzzle punch ers. Moderator Stephen Kuss was instrumental in the addi tion of underclassmen to the group of willing wizards. This should assure continued success for the arithmetic addicts next year.
