■Juniors have night to remember
"It was a night to remember!” This refrain was heard
more than once as Seniors reminisced on last year’s Junior Prom held at the Lakeshore Country Club May 22, 1981. Planning the event of the Junior year were class moderator, Brother Lawrence Rywalt and officers, Steve Luber and Scott Shatraw. "It was worth all the hours and effort”, said Brother
Lawrence.
Arriving from pre-festive gatherings at individual students’ houses, the couples were greeted by facul ty members who donated their time to chaperone. Despite their duties, it was evident that the faculty enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
The sixty couples chatted and boogied the evening away to the music of The Coachmen. It was clear that the prom ended on an unbeat note. Yet the night was not over as many couples made their way to late evening (or was it early morning?) breakfasts. After all was said and done, the general conclusion was that "it was a night to remember”.
