Early season setbacks plagued the J,V , Football squad as they attempted to compensate for oversize opponents and key losses to the Varsity team. None the less team leaders LorenzoJackson and Chris Millard helped to rally the Gridders to win two out of their last three games. An exciting win over the Ludden team by a score of 18-14 helped brighten the realities of a tough season which ended with three wins and five losses.
Outstanding offensive players Steve Etoll andjack Mun- govan in addition to Dwight Jackson and Ken Eoulke on defense helped to pave the way for a more competitive end-of-the-season performance. While the season was a difficult one for the young team, experience and increased knowledge of the game will be a plus for those gridders who move up to the varsity squad.
