I would like to speak about my father Frank Summers who in fact died this past

February 8th. He was the finest man I have ever known. We often talked about

how he wanted to be here to support me and, in my heart, I know he is here. “Rest

in Peace Dad. I love you.”

Finally, to the 52nd Grand Worthy Matron of Deborah Grand Chapter, Rowinea R.

Wooten, we had six years to plan and now the time has come, not like we wanted

it or planned it, because a pandemic was not in our plans, but nevertheless, we are

here, by God’s grace, as the 2020 GWM and GWP. With Gods’ guidance, may we

lead together with fraternal love, in the hopes that our members will find Joy and

Happiness in this life of being a part of our Administration and this great Order.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said in his famous speech in Washington, DC in

1963,"…Even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a

dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream." Like Dr. King I have a

dream. I have a dream that as an organization we truly learn how to love one

another. Let us be patient and wait. Moreover, let us love and avoid speaking evil

of our sisters and brothers, for life is too short. Especially since this pandemic has

crippled our nation and our organization. With that being said, I would like to offer

some words of advice, “This too shall pass because God is still God and still in

       charge.”

As we do not know when our organization can resume its normal or new normal

ways we can still work. We all can study our Ritual and Constitution.

To the District Lecturers, l look forward to working with you all to help ensure all

chapters are knowledgeable in all ritualist ceremonies.

To the members of Deborah Grand Chapter, I am excited about our ensuing

journey, as we all strive to improve our Order and make our impressions lasting

and what we desire they should be.

       Fraternally submitted In His Name,

       Juan L. Summers, No. 95
