Committee Reports

Ensigns Forever- Eric Jones and Technical – Zeke Durica
Eric provided an update of the ongoing effort to develop a list of Ensign
Restoration companies. The list is now posted to the Class website under
documents and is continuing to be updated as more restoration companies are
identified and vetted.
Hall of Fame – Zeke Durica
Zeke reported no nominations for 2023.
Boat Donation – Zeke Durica
A discussion of the program was held. No current boat donations are in the
works.
Youth Sponsorship Program (YSP) – Elizabeth Brinklow
General update on the Youth Sponsorship.

2023 Governing Board Decisions
Ensign Spars allowed to re-use lead from un-sound hulls in new Ensigns.

The wording in the Spirit Award was revised and a committee appointed to
oversee the award

The age eligible for Youth Sponsorship was lowered to 6 from 10 years of age.

Other Business

Robin Durrschmidt provided a report of preparations for the 2024 Ensign
Nationals

Nick Lubar provided a report of the preparations for the 2025 Nationals.

Bob Conkey Fleet 29 and co-owner of Ensign Spars reported that they are
looking forward to working with their laminator and begin building new Ensigns
this year.
