A word from…Millennium Magic (continued)

We had great plans for a Christmas show in December but alas...the weather forced us to cancel. We
still have plans to do a show so we hope you all can make it to Sturbridge for this musical event
once it’s scheduled. The line-up is full of many of our Region 1 Quartets, so let's hope we can still
do this show. And while we are announcing upcoming performances, please save the date of Dec.
12, 2020 as we have been invited to sing with Royal River Chorus up in Maine for their Christmas
show! Voce Quartet will also be singing, so you don't want to miss this! In fact, we have been told
to plan for an Afterglow on Saturday night, so we think ALL Region 1 folks should make a day and
a night of it and enjoy some Holiday Spirit in the town of Freeport (home of LLBean) and stay over
night because we are sure to be ringing some fine barbershop chords very late into the night.

While we all wait for the world's pandemic to subside, we will
continue to tape ourselves and send these recordings to our
leaders for constructive feedback, do some Zoom PVI's with our
coach Debra Lynn, and basically continue to work on our
Barbershop Craft, despite the obstacles we all face at this time.
We are disappointed not to be able to sing with all of you at
Regional Contest this year, but we know its the right thing to do.
We hope everyone stays well and continues to keep music on
their list of fun and important things to do!

In Memoriam – Barbara Ebner

Sadly one of our Region 1 Sisters, Barbara Ebner passed away on 3/28/20.

Barbara was a founding member of Farmington Valley Chorus. She also served on the
Regional Board of Directors as Treasurer and Vice Regent. She was a member of Sweet
Adelines for 52 years.
