I was supposed to be inducted in Singapore at the end of June, but that probably isn’t going to be happening. I
have always thought Sweet Adeline’s would be good Lions, as we like to do things for others. Our Lions
motto is “We Serve”, or “Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion”. I have dove into volunteering upon retiring,
and love seeing the impact we can have on other peoples lives. If you’re ever looking for other additional
avenues to go down in your life, they are out there. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there! There are so
many things I have done recently that I would have never thought I would have done. I am thankful to have
challenged myself, as it has had a positive impact on my life as well as others.

Never be afraid to change up your life. The possibilities are endless!
