Oh my, how time flies when you’re having fun. I never would have thought that I would still be singing
and enjoying barbershop harmony 25 years later. I joined FVC because I love to sing (had not done it in
years) was going through a divorce, alone and depressed. I found friendship, laughter, enjoyment and
knowledge, still to this day. One thing that never changes over the years is my heart is always happy
when we sing. Overall, I say a great big “thank you “ for my many years of singing in a great chorus and
I look forward to many more years ahead with Sweet Adelines.
It’s been a welcomed quiet summer after two years of intense coaches and competition. We’ve learned
three new songs and started a new Christmas song to help us get through this heat. God bless any of you
who don’t rehearse in an air conditioned space. We’re looking forward to this Regional weekend and
learning more new things. Next up for us is coaching with Lynn Smith and Dale Syverson and our
Annual Christmas show December 8 at 2pm.
