Coastline Show Chorus (continued)
Some groups used props and/or special attire, some presented comedic sketches and worked their song
into it. There were three judges, some of whom also donned costumes-and a good time was had by all.
Can’t wait for the next time we do this!
July and August found small groups volunteering at a booth at the Providence Flea Market. Soundwaves
sang to appreciative audiences that certainly drew interest. Membership Team members who were present
worked their magic and talked up prospective members. Pam Pachomski started a shoe drive that goes to
mid-September to benefit people in third world countries and our chorus too, win/win. Pam wrote
alternate lyrics to Sweet Caroline and we made a video-did you see it on Facebook?! Great idea Pam!

August means more coaching with approachable and brilliant Queen Lynda Keever. The annual chorus
picnic is approaching-can’t wait to eat, swim and sing together again, this time, off the risers! Later in
August we will be singing the national anthem at McCoy Stadium before a Pawtucket Paw Sox game. It
promises to be a fun night of baseball-you never know what Major leaguer might be rehabbing with the
team! .
