Assemble the pie: Remove the ganache-lined crust from the
refrigerator. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer over the
ganache. Carefully pour in the custard; it should completely cover
the bananas and fill the crust. Return the pie to the refrigerator to
chill for a minimum of 4 hours or as long as 1 day.

When you are ready to serve the pie, remove it from the
refrigerator. Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks. Mound the
whipped cream on top of the custard, and serve.

Note:
To make chocolate curls to top the whipped cream, use a vegetable
peeler to shave a bar of dark chocolate.
