Makes 1 cocktail
“Quoth the Raven ‘Nevermore.’”
This refreshing, darkly sweet (but not too sweet) cocktail is just right for sipping at a
Halloween party or a midnight poetry reading.
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup blueberries
2 large basil leaves
½ cup ice
3 ounces sweet blueberry wine
2 ounces black cherry juice
4 shakes Angostura bitters
INSTRUCTIONS
1 In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle blueberries and basil
leaves.
2 Add ice. Pour in wine, cherry juice, and bitters. Close shaker and
shake vigorously to combine.
3 Pour into a wineglass and garnish with extra blueberries and basil
if desired.
Serve upon a midnight dreary!
