6 Roll, cut out, and bake remaining cookies from second half of
dough. Repeat the process with the scraps of dough.
7 Decorate with icing and sprinkles to look like the four March
sisters:
• FOR MEG Outline and fill the dress using purple icing. Add
white pearl sprinkles while the icing is still wet. Draw the face
with a food pen and outline the head and the top of the hair
bun with chocolate icing.
• FOR JO Outline and fill in the dress using white icing, then
trace a crisscross pattern on top with blue icing. Draw the
face with a food pen. Make the curls around her head by
drawing a loop pattern with chocolate icing. For the braid,
draw a zigzag line one way over her shoulder and draw
another zigzag over it going the opposite way. Finish the braid
with a blue icing bow.
• FOR BETH Outline and fill the dress using teal icing, then use
white icing and some white pearl sprinkles to make a Peter
Pan collar with buttons. Draw the face with a food pen. Pipe
her hair with chocolate icing by starting below her shoulder,
going over her head, and ending below her opposite shoulder.
Add a dot of teal icing for a pin in her hair.
• FOR AMY Outline and fill the dress using pink icing. Scatter
multicolored sprinkles over it before it dries. Draw the face
with a food pen. Pipe her hair with yellow icing by starting
below her shoulder and piping a zigzag line over her head
and ending below her opposite shoulder. Pipe another line
over it, zigzagging in the opposite direction to give her hair a
wavy look. Draw a blue icing bow in her hair.
