Working with Ramani was an honour and
a pleasure. There was much that I learnt
professionally.
However, the part that I would remember
most fondly is the genuine empathy and
care that he had for his employees. He
remembered everyone by their names,
always enquired about their families and
always greeted them with a smile and
an openness, a quality that I haven’t seen
in a lot of leaders. Raychem was truly a
family to him. He will be missed a lot!

18 I was also impressed by the way he knew people by their names, and at times, their families.
I worked at Raychem RPG 11 years
ago for a short span of about 3 years! I
joined as a Management Trainee in HR.
Among other memories of interactions
with Ramani Sir which were very lively,
insightful and informal, I will always
remember how he suddenly entrusted me
to make a presentation in front of the
entire organisation for the project which
I had worked on, expecting to be in the
background supporting role. Not only
that, as a moral support, he stood with
me on the platform till he thought I had
things under control. That tremendously
boosted my confidence and created huge
respect for him as a leader.
Here’s wishing Ramani Sir, a joyful and
enriching retired life ahead!

It was so wonderful working with you for Best wishes to you for a new inning! You
over 15 years in Raychem RPG! You were are the only Ex-boss to whom I send New
more like a friend than a boss and we learnt Year and Diwali greetings without fail. I
a lot under your charismatic leadership. I have always found you approachable and
will always cherish those memories which it matters most to me. It has been a long
were filled with excitement, collaboration, time since I moved out of Raychem, but
fun, learning and rewards. never really separated from you. I admire
your leadership and your persistent efforts
Today it may be a sad day for Raychem, in achieving the targets. No wonder,
at the same time, you must be looking under your strong leadership, Raychem
forward to entering into the next phase RPG achieved Rs 1000 Crore mark!
