To ensure adequate skin coverage, two free flaps are performed simultaneously during the
same surgical procedure: a free parascapular flap measuring 25 x 10 cm, and a lateral arm
fasciocutaneous free flap measuring 16 x 10 cm.
Below is the harvesting of the parascapular flap.
