A Track Record After celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2011, GTMF
created a Strategic Plan focused on making the already
highly regarded festival even more relevant to donors
of Excellence and audiences. Since then, the Festival has outperformed
on all of that plan’s parameters for success: audiences
grew 60+%, individual giving more than doubled, and
the national media recognition demonstrates our
reputation’s ascent.
The Festival operates on a $5.1 million annual budget,
with an endowment of $11 million that contributes 5%
to Festival operations each year. Philanthropy drives
revenue and 64% of expenses are dedicated to programs
and expanding our reach to new audiences.
