               SELECTION OF GRINDING STONES

Grinding / Sharpening is extremely important as it directly affects the Lifespan of the blade. A few
               things to keep in mind:

 Control: Angles of grinding stones in relation to the blade?
 Cycle: Frequency of sharpening during cycle?
 Grind Stone Selection: Correct stone & grit used?
 Pressure: Adjusted according to cycle time, angles, speed?
                    Cleanliness: Stones cleaned regularly?
 Cutting Edge: Smooth cutting edge produced by grinding?

Done correctly, the grinding process should produce less sparks and scars on the blade, leaving a
smooth cutting edge. This will also result in less contamination of the product and fewer rejects.
