INSUFFICIENT TACK ON PLATE SIDE
     Root cause:
     Use the correct solvent and allow plate to dry and or select the right adhesive level of tape.
     Solution:
     Supply customer with adhesion pen to increase tack on leading and tail edge of plates and instruct customer on cleaning
     the plate and allowing it to dry before applying.
     Disadvantages / Factors:
     Scratches, nicks, dents and other surface abnormalities can affect the tapes performance.

     INSUFFICIENT TACK ON SLEEVE / CYLINDER
     Root cause:
            Atmosphere (too cold or hot);
            Poor / incorrect application;
            Damaged cylinder or sleeve.
     Solution:
          Typical temperature for application: 15 °C to 25 °C, improve on storage conditions. Store in an air-conditioned or
            cool place. Rolls should not be left in work environment or hot machine rooms;
          Supply customer with adhesion pen to increase tack on leading and tail edge of plates and instruct customer on
            cleaning the plate and allowing it to dry before applying;

            High temperatures in working environment;
          Solvent residue attacking the adhesive.
     Solution:
            Remount with correct adhesion levels;
          Typical temperature for application: 15 °C to 25 °C, improve on storage conditions. Store in an air-conditioned or
            cool place. Rolls should not be left in work environment or hot machine rooms;
          Use the correct solvent and allow plate to dry.
     Disadvantages / Factors:
            Train the mounter or operator of the correct cleaning procedures;
          Provide the necessary product information on adhesion levels.

     ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BRING BACK BATCH NUMBERS WHERE THERE ARE ISSUES

          Inside each core of Scapa mounting tape there is a sticker with the batch number of the roll.
          Without the batch number there is very little we can do lodge a complaint or claim with Scapa.
          Always bring back batch numbers if you want help
