ROTARY LABEL PRINTING MACHINES
Rotary label printing machines with rotary silk screen attachments are of the most interest
to us. These attachments allow printers to apply a lot more ink that they could with
conventional print methods. So where on requires a dense white on clear film, or to have
a raised embossed fell with ink or to print a latex type substance on to scratch cards,
rotary silk screen is the answer.

One of the more popular rotary silk screen system is the Stork unit that is made of nickel
and that can be found on many presses like the Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Gallus, etc. The Stork
Squeegee blades are mounted on a steel backing with a polyurethane tip. The Squeegee
blades edges are rounded off to protect the screen mesh. The reason being that the hard
backing of the blade does not damage the mesh screen. It is important that, when calling
on customers it is best to get a sample of the original blade so that it can be matched up
correctly. The correct Shore hardness is of utmost importance.

     ROTARY SQUEEGEE BLADES
Rotary Squeegee blades enable a constant, ‘reproduceable’ and standardised rotary screen-
printing for all speeds and designs. For the RS Rotary Blades from RKS they only the very
best glass fibre support and irremovable highly resistant (Vulkollan) tips for this application.
