INTRODUCTION:

     Ink proofing is the process of checking ink before it is used on the printing press.  This allows
     adjustments to be made to the ink before it is used on the printing machine – saving valuable
     time on the press.

     There are two basic categories of proofing equipment – Manual and Automatic (or machine
     proofers).

     Manual Proofers include the following:

         •  Draw down bars and pads
         •  4 INCH proofer (with and without spring loaded frame)
         •  6 INCH Proofer (K-Lox)
         •  Esiproof

     Automatic Proofer include the following:

         •  K Control Coater (automatic Draw Down Bar machine)
         •  Automatic K-Lox
         •  KPP Gravure and Flexo
         •  Flexiproof 100 + UV
