PROJECT “BLADES AND KNIVES”:

Blades & Knives - Here we have a situation where Barkev has supplied all their rotary dished
knives and then they have started to import their own and we have seen our sales drop. We
need to go out and firstly get back all our rotary dished knife blade business. This has
predominantly been in the Gauteng region. Then there are all the other blades as we have
seen at Detpak.

Superior Blades in Gauteng - We need to start looking into our opposition’s activities in
Gauteng which has a lot of timber chipper blades, which is new to us.

PSS and Leneeru - We need to start looking into our opposition’s activities in KZN. Currently
we have taken Belgotex and Van Dyke on as new customers and there is also timber chipper
blades

Rumours and Renlaw - We need to start looking into our opposition’s activities and prepare
for when your grinders arrive.
