CHANGING WORLD – UNCHANGING GOD!

        Truth to Teach (Source)

¾ In a world full of change, Jesus Christ – his nature, his word, his presence, his

example – is unchanging. History reveals his plans for his world and teaches us to
                  trust him for the future.

Hebrews 13:8 ‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and for ever.’

Psalm 78:4-7 ‘We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord Then
they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His
               commands.’

Knowing how God has faithfully led, provided and protected in the past, builds faith to
embrace his will in the future.

We find out about the past by piecing together information from records, (both

written and oral when it is possible) artefacts, photographs, drawings,
                 reconstructions, etc.

An understanding of life and events in the past, can make us look differently at our

present. It can produce thankfulness for where we are now, and it can
challenge us to seek to bring about needed change or improvement.
