Y4 Summer Term Overview

Talk about nouns referring to males as masculine, and nouns

referring to females as feminine. Ensure the children know the
meaning of gender (male or female).

3. Refer to the above verses, stressing that we should have respect
for one another whether we are male or female for we are all

made in God’s image even though we are different.

4. Let the children try the worksheet to ensure they know the

masculine and feminine forms of words.

5. Gather back to share and review the lesson.

1. The children should realise the importance of respecting people

of both genders.

2. They should know most masculine and feminine nouns used.
