4. It is important to handle food with clean hands and clean equipment, and store
it properly. This prevents microbes from multiplying and keeps it fresh longer. Food
will have a ‘sell by’ date or ‘ best before’ date on the packet, tin or jar (show examples),
and it is wise to heed this information.
5. Worksheet. Discuss this with the children before asking them to
complete it, by colouring, cutting and sticking.
