Read the following Nursery rhyme carefully then draw pictures to show the

meaning of each line.

Little Boy Blue, come, blow up your
horn,

The sheep’s in the meadow, the
cow’s in the corn,

But where is the boy that looks
after the sheep?

He is under the haystack, fast

asleep.

Will you wake him? No, not I;

For if I do, he’s sure to cry.

Rhymes are passed on from generation to generation.
