To know that God is the creator of light.
To learn that light travels from a variety of sources in straight lines.
To learn that light can be made to change direction.
To understand that things are seen as a result of light emanating from them entering the eye.
To learn about the parts and functions of the human eye.
To show how light passes through some objects and not through others.
To learn that shadows are formed by some objects being resistant to the passage of light.
To appreciate that light is reflected from surfaces such as mirrors and polished metal.
To learn how prisms split light into colours.
To learn about refracted light.
