Experiment 1
Aim: To see whose shoes have the safest sole on different surfaces.
Apparatus: One of everyone’s shoes, piece of carpet, tray, piece of lino or smooth
flooring material, soil or a piece of turf.
Method: Line up some different shoes on a tray covered with carpet and tilt the
tray. Observe which shoe is the fastest and which is the slowest.
