DRS champions Unisa researchers through its Research Support Programmes (RSPs). It facilitates the entire process - from calling for applications and coordinating the selection process to submitting compelling proposals to Senex. Its goal is to ensure that every researcher has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the academic community.
In 2024, Senex approved 69 applications with a total value of R21 million in research support.
