Disclosures and patents
The DITTC received 25 IP disclosures and filed 47 patent applications (an 88% increase over the 2023 figures).

in 2024.

IP compliance
Working with the Unisa Finance Department, the DITTC submitted the Unisa Full Costing Model to the National Intellectual Property Management Office (NIPMO).
DITTC also made the mandatory IP7 biannual submissions to NIPMO and submitted the IP Rebate claim. A record R5.9 million- claim was submitted to NIPMO.
