When should you plan?
It is important to set aside time for your planning to ensure that it receives the
attention it requires. The meeting should be long enough to develop the basic
framework of the plan so the duration will depend on the size and complexity of
your club/federation. You may need a half-day or a full day for the meeting.

It is probably most economical to schedule your planning meeting at the same
time as one of your club/federation regular gatherings. It could be associated
                  with a:
                  • general meeting
                  • club/federation event
                  • social occasion.

Remember, the plan should be reviewed regularly (approximately every 6 months)
to check your progress and to make any necessary modifications. Planning
meetings should be a regular feature of your club/federation calendar.

                           Activity 7.3

How often does your club/federation review its plan/s and therefore its
                  performance?
