Reflecting on the rich history of Samaritas and its 90 years
of compassionate service, it’s clear that the organization
has been a beacon of hope and support for countless
individuals and families. As we look back on the milestones
and achievements, we also look forward to the future with
a renewed commitment to the mission of serving people as
an expression of the love of Christ.

Leaders Coming Together to Set Strategy, Build Team,
Develop Culture

At the heart of Samaritas’ success is the collaborative spirit of its
leaders, who come together to set strategic directions, build
robust teams, and develop a nurturing culture. Samaritas' 2.0
Strategy centers around the organization’s intentional approach to
creating a destination health and human services organization
with a strong culture and a robust service, team, and
workplace experience. This Spring, leaders came together
to vision out and build that destination organization. It was
a remarkable day of teaming, commitment, and action.

Planning for the Future

Samaritas’ leadership team works diligently to plan for the
future, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront
of providing health, human, and housing services, living out
the organization’s commitment to excellence, collaboration,
people first, stewardship, and faith to achieve healthy
outcomes in our shared communities.

Celebrating 90 Years of Compassion in Action
The celebration of Samaritas’ 90th anniversary is a testament to the organization’s
enduring legacy of compassion in action. As Samaritas continues to serve and impact
our communities across Michigan, it remains a shining example of what it means to be a
rock of support and a ripple of positive change in the community. Together, we are
changing lives in powerful ways. Here's to celebrating the past, embracing the present,
and planning for a future filled with compassion and action. Happy 90th anniversary,
