MISSION MOMENT
THE LAND FAMILY & US
When the call came in, that ten siblings needed placement, the
Samaritas team sprang into action. Foster Care workers, family
preservation staff, and adoption caseworkers all worked jointly to
identify and support the biological grandparents as foster parents.
These remarkable grandparents stepped in to care for the
children and eventually adopted all ten children.
Adoption Supervisor Natalie Roelfzema remarked, “The
grandparents did a wonderful job of keeping their grandchildren
safe and well cared for while in foster care and were open to
parenting suggestions that helped them establish a new
household with 10 children.”
With the support of generous community members like you,
Samaritas is able to recruit, train and support caring, dedicated
staff who are called to help children and families like the Lands.
We are able to help children and families because you first helped
us. Thank you!
