Team Ripple Effects Runners Wanted!

n October 21, 2018 the first ever
Samaritas' Team Ripple Effects braved
Othe cold to volunteer, run and cheer in
the Detroit Free Press/Chemical Bank & Grand
Rapids Marathons. Team Ripples Effect runners
helped raise over $2,100 and had 50 runners and
volunteers. Thank you for making each step count
and running for a reason!

Samaritas is looking for runners to join the 2019
Team Ripple Effects in the Detroit Free Press/
Chemical Bank or Grand Rapids Marathon on
Making Ripples in the Detroit and Sunday, October 20, 2019 and we want to team up

Grand Rapids Marathons with you. Help us reach our goal of 85 runners to
commemorate Samaritas’ 85 years of impact! All
runners who register to run for Samaritas on Team
Ripple Effects will receive a running shirt to wear
the day of the race.

There is a distance for every runner. Races include
a competitive 1-mile, 5K, half-marathon, relay
team, full marathon, disabilities division and a
kids fun run. Samaritas will match you on a Relay
Team or gather five friends and start your own.
This is a great way for the whole family to join and
send ripples of positive change across Michigan.
