             HUTTON’s 20th ANNIVERSARY
             HUTTON’s 20th ANNIVERSARY
This year Hutton Short Mat Bowls Club is celebrating its 20th Anniversary having started
back in 1994. Since that time the Club has gone from strength to strength and now has
a membership of 35 (the maximum being 36). The Club has two teams who play in the
local Woodspring League and regularly enters teams in Charity Tournaments ranging
from Hardwicke in the north to Exeter and beyond in the south.
The Club holds two Charity Tournaments each year and this year have raised al-
most £2000 for Cystic Fibrosis and Diabetes UK. To celebrate our Anniversary the Club
held a Random Triples Tournament and to ensure we had enough people, members of
other clubs were invited to take part. Twelve teams split into two groups played four
games each, with the winners being decided by the usual points and shot difference.
