The first of the Triples semi-finals saw Norma 33
Davies, Stewart & Joyce Howe ease past Joy Booth,
Garth & Shirley Willis. Ends 2 and four were crucial
with a four and a three helping Norma, Stewart &
Joyce to win 10 - 3.
The other semi-final swing one way then the
other as Joan Northcott, Val Latham & Doug Owen
went into the last end at 6 all with Ann Ward, Fred
Harland & Stella Dunn but a crucial last end single
gave Joan Val & Doug an edgy 7 - 6 victory.
The final was also very close as the game
swing to and fro Joan, Val & Doug took a 5 - 0 lead
after three ends but by end six Norma, Stewart &
Joyce had got back within one shot.
Joan, Val & Doug then struck with a three to
