Art Adventures
Encouraging young artists to use their imaginations and find their own style through painting and sculpture. Students will
experiment with different techniques and mediums, while learning about composition, color, and design. We will be using
acrylic paints, watercolor, pastels, clay, and more. Please wear old clothes.

Summer Art Adventures Camp
The summer art camp is a great experience for children to further explore their appreciation for art outside their school
setting. It is a relaxed environment in which the children make art about things that interest them, giving them the freedom to
expand their creativity by having fun. Children are able to learn a variety of techniques as well as how to talk to each other’s
art by participating in discussions after each class. This class is about trying new things and having fun! Please wear old
clothes.

Intro to Dance
This program creates a cooperative sanctuary for learning, moving, and exploring the art form of dance. The dancers will
participate in creative movement exercises, stretches and strengthening, move across the floor, and choreography. At
seasons end, we will invite families and friends to a class demonstration, where we will perform the finished product!

Keyboard for Kids
Young music lovers are invited to have fun learning to play electric keyboards. Instructional classes include a hands-on
curriculum, learning and playing songs, solo and group performing, reading and writing music, introduction to music theory,
keyboard operations, and so much more! The love of music and skills attained here will last a lifetime. If you are unsure of
your child’s level, please call the Recreation Department.
