The 2021/2022 Nominating Committee is charged with nominating individuals for the following
positions:
• President-Elect 2022-2023
(will automatically succeed to presidency in 2023-2024)
Based on the rotation, this nominee must come from Nominating District 3, which is
comprised of parishes of Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo,
Calcasieu, Cameron, Caldwell, Catahoula, Claiborne, Concordia, DeSoto, East Carroll,
Evangeline, Franklin, Grant, Iberia, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, LaSalle, Lincoln,
Madison, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Red River, Richland, Sabine, St.
Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Tensas, Union, Vermilion, Vernon, Webster, West Carroll
and Winn.

To date, Shayna L. Sonnier of Lake Charles has declared her candidacy.

• Treasurer 2022-2024
Based on the rotation, this nominee must come from Nominating District 1, which is
comprised of parishes of Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard and St. Tammany.

To date, Larry J. Centola of New Orleans has declared his candidacy.

There is no other business to come before the Nominating Committee at this time.
