Increased Awareness of Events/Programs

Outreach Postcard
The Department is actively engaged in fostering communication with local and specialty bar
associations throughout the state. To receive information regarding activities and events of local
and specialty bar associations, the Department created an Outreach Postcard. The Outreach
Postcard is used to request updated contact information. The Department’s goal is to maintain
information concerning regular meetings and signature events. The Department is committed to
maintaining and regularly updating this information which will aid in coordinating increased
outreach by the Department and LSBA officers. The Department has an email address,
outreach@lsba.org, and the email address continues to be provided to all local and specialty bar
associations to achieve increased communication. The Department also encourages Local and
Specialty Bar Associations to add the LSBA to their membership listserv.

The Department co-sponsors receptions and gatherings across the state to welcome new attorneys
to the profession.
