volunteers should be respectful, courteous, and mindful of others’ feelings and needs. General
             cooperation between coworkers and supervisors is expected. Any individual who acts in an
             unprofessional, unethical or unlawful manner may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including
             termination.

             1.10 OPEN DOOR POLICY FOR GENERAL WORKPLACE CONCERNS OR
                    COMPLAINTS

             The LSBA strives to maintain a positive working environment. The LSBA has an open door policy for
             general workplace concerns or complaints. Complaints of Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation
             and Workplace Violence should be filed in accordance with the Complaint Procedures set forth in
             LSBA’s Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Policy. All applicants, Employees, volunteers,
             contractors, vendors, Members and visitors have the right to voice any general workplace concerns or
             complaints, problems or suggestions, and are encouraged to do so to their immediate supervisor or the
             Executive Director.

             1.11 FRATERNIZATION

             Supervisor/Subordinate Relationships

             The existence of a romantic or sexual relationship between an Employee and his/her supervisor, or
             anyone in the Employee’s chain of command, is not permitted and is a violation of this policy. Such a
             relationship may interfere with or be detrimental to LSBA business operations or the daily work
             environment, and may also negatively reflect on the individuals involved with respect to credibility,
             fairness, and setting a proper professional example. The existence of this type of relationship must be
             immediately reported to the Executive Director. The LSBA will then review the possibility of
             transferring one of the individuals involved in the relationship or restructuring the reporting
             relationship. Failure to promptly report such a relationship may result in disciplinary action, up to and
             including termination.

             Coworker Relationships

             The LSBA discourages Employees from becoming involved in romantic and/or sexual relationships
             with coworkers but recognizes that Employees may choose to do so. Employees involved in such
             relationships should report the relationship to the appropriate supervisor and/or the Executive Director.
             Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.

             Employees involved in the types of relationships discussed in this policy must recognize the following
             and conduct themselves accordingly:

                 The romantic and/or sexual relationship, if in accordance with the LSBA policy on
                    Fraternization, must be voluntary and consensual;

                 The Employees involved must abide by the LSBA’s Discrimination, Harassment and
                    Retaliation Policy and must report any violations;
