the approved CLE. Ms. Wegmann also updates and monitors attendance records for all board-certified
              specialists and applicants who must attend approved specialization CLEs.

                    Ms. Wegmann keeps the LBLS Board informed and updated on the business of the Advisory
              Commissions and issues concerning specialists, applications, and testing. She manages the application
              process for nine (9) specializations and administers take home and/or virtual examinations for seven
              specializations. She continues to work with the LSBA to update the LBLS website and to migrate to
              the LSBA IT system. She works closely with the LBLS Board and the Advisory Commissions on their
              agendas and attends their meetings. Future projects include updating the Rules and Regulations of the
              LBLS; and the development of a long-range strategic plan to promote legal specialization to the bar
              and the public. Ms. Wegmann encourages applications, interacts with board certified specialists, and
              provides information regarding specialization at various CLEs attended by board certified specialists
              and potential applicants. She also participates in ABA sponsored specialization meetings and seminars.

              Current Legal Specialization Status

                    The LBLS Board continues to administer certification of specialists in the following areas of
              specialization:  Appellate  Practice,  Business  Bankruptcy  Law,  Consumer  Bankruptcy  Law,
              Employment Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Family Law, Health Law, Labor Law and Tax
              Law.

                    As of January 1, 2023, 22 new specialists were certified as follows:

                •  Appellate Practice – No new specialists have been certified

                •  Business Bankruptcy Law – Two (2) new specialists have been certified

                •  Consumer Bankruptcy Law – Two (2) new specialists have been certified

                •  Estate Planning and Administration – Four (4) new specialists have been certified

                •  Employment Law - Nine (9) specialists have been certified for the first time

                •  Family Law – Three (3) new specialists have been certified

                •  Health Law – One (1) new specialist has been certified

                •  Labor Law – No specialists have been certified

                •  Tax Law – One (1) new specialist has been certified
