               In  this  unit,  we  will  learn  how  to  make  persuasive  arguments
           in  writing.  You’ll  learn  how  to  construct  a  strong  argumentative
           paragraph  and  essay,  essential  skills  for  academic  writing,  critical
           thinking, and forming well-supported opinions.

                 The Generic Structures of Argumentative Essay?




               Argumentative paragraph or essay aims to present a convincing
           argument on a specific issue. It persuades the reader to accept the
           writer’s position by providing evidence and logical reasoning.
               The purpose of argumentative paragraph or essay is convince the
           reader of a particular viewpoint, to present a well-supported opinion
           on a debatable topic, and to influence the reader’s thinking on an issue

           Key elements of argumentative paragraph or essay are:
           Claim: A clear statement expressing the writer’s position on the issue.
           Evidence: Facts, statistics, quotes from experts, research findings, or
           personal experiences that support the claim.
           Reasoning:  Logical  connections  that  explain  how  the  evidence
           supports the claim.
